Cairo, Egypt | 21 June 2026: Egypt’s construction and infrastructure sectors converge in Cairo next week, as Big 5 Construct Egypt, co-located with Egypt Infrastructure Expo, opens to industry professionals from 23 – 25 June 2026 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center. The events are held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr Moustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt and supported by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities & Urban Communities.

Bringing together more than 300 exhibiting brands from over 15 countries across three days, the scale of international participation at the events reflects growing interest in Egypt’s construction and infrastructure market, which holds a $565.5 billion project pipeline, the third largest in MENA (Source: Knight Frank). From building technology specialists to contractors and materials suppliers, the exhibitor line-up covers the full construction and infrastructure value chain, providing buyers an opportunity to source products, evaluate solutions and meet the suppliers behind Egypt’s most active project sectors.

Visitors can expect three high-impact days on the exhibition floor, with leading brands including Egyptian Steel, Bosch, NCC Calibur, Nassar Group, Yanbu Steel & Fischer among those exhibiting at Big 5 Construct Egypt, alongside Arab Company for Engineering, FRP – Fibre Reinforced Polymer, MESCO, Ascenda (formerly known as Hassan Allam Trading & Engineering) and Orascom Trading at Egypt Infrastructure Expo.

A key highlight this year is EcoTrail, one of the features on the exhibition floor that is designed to help visitors identify exhibitors showcasing sustainable products, materials and technologies. Featuring within the EcoTrail are exhibitors including Ascenda, formerly known as Hassan Allam Trading & Engineering, that showcases Brokk’s fully electric remote-controlled demolition robots, a safer, lower-emission alternative to traditional demolition equipment; Yanbu Cement, which presents Portland pozzolana cement with a low carbon footprint through its natural pozzolana composition; and Eco Heating Solutions, which spotlights the Richemond solar water heater range for residential and commercial applications.

Government stakeholders and senior policymakers will also be present across the three days, alongside extensive networking opportunities connecting contractors, developers, consultants and suppliers. Some of the industry-leading brands confirmed to attend include Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), Sabbour Consulting, EHAF Consulting Engineers, SIAC Construction, SODIC, Rowad Modern Engineering and Mountain View.

Knowledge and industry dialogue

The CPD-certified Big 5 Talks programme will deliver more than 35 sessions spanning project management, HVACR, BIM & technology, sustainability and architecture & design. Among the sessions are a panel discussion examining how water resilience, digitalization and integrated climate strategy are generating new business opportunities across Egypt’s built environment, led by Hala Omar, Vice President of the Egypt Green Building Council. Also on the programme is a technical session on advancing carbon-neutral concrete, presented by Ahmed Mhanna, Director – Middle East and North Africa at the American Concrete Institute, covering innovations in low-carbon materials, evolving industry standards and the role of global research collaboration in accelerating adoption. Fellow speaker, Engr Hasan Fikry, Managing Director of DABS Egypt, will deliver a session on wellness and indoor air quality in modern workspaces.

At Egypt Infrastructure Expo, the Infrastructure Leadership Sessions will open with a high-level address on Egypt’s national infrastructure commitment for 2026–2030. A leadership panel moderated by Engr Amr Elnaggar, PPP Unit Director at The Arab Contractors and featuring Dr Raymond Ahdy, Chief Executive Officer, Wadi Degla Developments, will examine Egypt’s Vision 2030 targets, their alignment with private sector delivery models and how governance structures can support consistent adoption of digital tools across the PPP pipeline.

The more technical Infra360 sessions will build on these strategic discussions, including an in-depth look at Al Ahly Stadium as a catalyst for urban and economic development, examining how the project, backed by 15 global and regional firms, is anchoring a broader mixed-use city development west of Cairo and signalling Egypt’s ambitions as a regional sports and infrastructure destination.

“Egypt’s project pipeline is among the most active in the region, with demand for both local expertise and international solutions continuing to grow. Beyond the scale of the event, it is the quality of connections, conversations and partnerships that translate ambition into delivery. We look forward to seeing these take shape on the exhibition floor next week,” said Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President, dmg events.
