Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population has announced that a total of 56,427,878 women have benefited from the medical services provided through the Egyptian Women’s Health presidential initiative, since its inception in July 2019 until December 2024.
The initiative, aimed at women aged 18 and above, focuses on early detection of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), along with promoting awareness of reproductive health and family planning. The program offers comprehensive health check-ups, including screenings for diabetes, high blood pressure, and body mass index (BMI) calculations, through weight and height measurements.
With the goal of identifying potential health issues at an early stage, the initiative ensures timely medical intervention and treatment, reinforcing the Egyptian government’s commitment to improving women’s health and wellbeing across the country.
