The President of the National Council for Women, Dr. Maya Morsi, expressed her hopes that the current golden age for women, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, would witness the establishment of a museum dedicated to women’s heritage.
According to Morsi, the museum will document the heritage and history of women, including their achievements through the ages, leading to their current golden age, gifted to them by the political will that believed in their rights.
The head of the council said in a statement to the Middle East News Agency on Saturday that work is underway to study the establishment of a museum for the heritage of Egyptian women through the ages in cooperation with all concerned authorities in the country.
She said: The heritage of Egyptian women throughout history deserves documentation. The Egyptian civilization is the civilization of queens and empowerment, and our modern era has preserved women’s rights, and their dreams have no limits.
