Egyptian scooter courier Eman Al-Adawi, uses her scooter as she provides a taxi service for women in the Imbaba district of Giza.
Eman succeeded in the last few months and dreams of a new app-based business with an all-woman team including instructors and mechanics, that goes against harassment and a way to face the devaluation of the Egyptian pound which affected the economic conditions in the country.
She said that she learned how to drive the scooter easily because she used to ride a bike so she got how to balance.
In conservative Egypt, few women drive scooters, a popular and cheap means of transportation, and many feel uncomfortable hiring men to drive them.
