Reham Farouk, CEO of Al-Tadamun Microfinance Foundation, won the Best CEO Award in Egypt for 2022, presented by The Global Economics Magazine, a British magazine specializing in economic affairs, as a result of her many achievements and ongoing successes.
The CEO received the award during a grand celebration in Dubai, UAE, with the participation of a group of leaders of financial institutions operating in various sectors from different countries worldwide through a panel of experienced referees and experts.
She earned this award due to her efforts and effective role in leading the Solidarity Microfinance Foundation to make a breakthrough at all levels and reach strong growth rates during the year 2022 and to support the development of the institution at all levels, which includes expanding financing for women who own microenterprises and promoting digital transformation and financial inclusion.
Farouk expressed her great contentment with the award, saying: We are proud to receive this new award, which crowns our continuous efforts to develop our various services in order to provide the best experience for our clients.
She emphasized that the remarkable distinction and superiority of the services provided by the Foundation is part of an ambitious strategy focused on expanding access to funds and reaching all women who need financing for their projects and enabling them to develop their craft, to support the Egyptian economy.
This award comes as a coronation of Farouk’s outstanding efforts and achievements for over 20 years in leading the Solidarity Microfinance Foundation, until it became one of the most prominent entities operating in the microfinance sector in the state, through a systematic and studied plan of action, according to the latest standards and scientific methods used worldwide.
Furthermore, in recognition of its leadership in microfinance activity, Al-Tadamun Microfinance Foundation won the award for most innovative financing product for the year 2022 from Global Business Outlook.
It is noteworthy that the Solidarity Microfinance Foundation provides innovative financing programs suitable for all women to finance their projects and help them expand their activities. These programs include individual financing, group financing, family financing, golden financing, and non-financial services as well.
