ValU Partners with Sympl to Offer 3 Months Installment Plan W/O Interest

Last Monday, ValU company, Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), announced the signing of a partnership agreement with Sympl, the first Egyptian startup that witnessed remarkable growth since its establishment last year, to allow ValU customers to pay their purchases over three months on credit without interest, through affordable technological solutions provided by Sympl.

This partnership comes as an addition to the list of systems and services that ValU offers, by re-launching the well-known “Hat-trick” system and taking advantage of the interest-free short-term payment period offered by Sympl through a wide and diversified network of partners.

As for Sympl, It targets the banked customer segment, whose total number is estimated at 30 M customers, which allows them to buy now and pay later without the need for pre-registration.

The company specialized in financial services technology, allows customers to pay their purchases using credit cards, and for the first time in Egypt direct debit cards through short-term and interest-free payment solutions ranging between 3 and 5 payments, whether weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, during the payment period of up to Three months.

CEO of ValU, Walid Hassouna, confirmed that this partnership is a step towards achieving the company’s goal of strengthening partnerships and cooperation with the financial services technology sector.

He pointed out that this partnership will contribute to achieving the growth goals of the Sympl and ValU platforms, as well as provide a role model for companies operating in this market to serve consumers and meet their various needs. The CEO praised the team working at “Sympl”.

Hassouna added that ValU aims to provide a package of financing services and solutions that suit different social segments in Egypt and enable them to improve their lifestyle while committing to achieving sustainable positive returns in the communities surrounding the company’s business.

For his part, Mohamed El-Feki, co-founder and CEO of Sympl, affirmed that this partnership will allow ValU to benefit from interest-free short-term payment plans for a wide range of merchants and customers, in addition to contributing to the development of the company’s operations.
