USAID Launches Program for Family Planning &Reproductive Health

 

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) launched on Tuesday, February 21, a program for family planning and reproductive health that targets over 10.6 M families in 10 governorates.

Pathfinder International (PI) launched the program in collaboration with the Health and Population Ministry and the participation of Social Solidarity Minister Nivine El-Kabbag.

The program is in line with the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family (NPDEF) 2021-2023, implemented by the government, and contributes to achieving the National Population Strategy.

The ceremony, held at the Grand Egyptian Museum, was attended by representatives of the Health and Population Ministry, Pathfinder International, the National Council for Women, the National Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the ministries of youth and sports, education, Awqaf, and the Egyptian Church.
