On Wednesday, the Egyptian pound (EGP) experienced a depreciation against the US dollar (USD) as the trading day commenced.
According to Amwal Al Ghad, Major banks in Egypt, including the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and the Commercial International Bank (CIB), set their exchange rates at EGP 48.21 for buying and EGP 48.31 for selling.
Similarly, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt also listed the same rates for buying and selling.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) offered rates at EGP 48.21 for buying and EGP 48.31 for selling, while the Arab African International Bank posted similar rates.
QNB ALAHLI provided slightly lower rates of EGP 48.18 for buying and EGP 48.28 for selling.
