Tuesday’s Dollar Rates in Major Egyptian Banks

When operations at Egypt’s main banks began on Tuesday, the value of the dollar remained steady.

The dollar rate was recorded at EGP 30.85 for selling and EGP 30.75 for buying at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr.

The dollar exchange rate at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) was EGP 30.85 for buying and 30.95 for selling.

The average dollar rate in the Egyptian market was EGP 30.84 for buying and EGP 30.93 for selling, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

At Banque Misr and the NBE, the euro price registered at EGP 33.08 for buying and EGP 33.26 for selling.

At the CIB, the euro price was EGP 33.19 for purchasing and EGP 33.34 for selling.

The pound sterling registered EGP 38.60 for purchase and EGP 38.82 for sale at the NBE and Banque Misr.

The exchange rate for pounds sterling at the CIB was EGP 38.72 for buying and EGP 38.94 for selling.

At the NBE, the Saudi riyal was worth EGP 8.19 for purchase and EGP 8.22 for sale.
