Solidarity Minister Inaugurates “Herafy” Program to Support Small Entrepreneurs

On Thursday, January 25, Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Nevine Al-Kabbag launched the “Herafy” or “Craftsman” Program, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Egypt and several Egyptian banks to support craftsmen.

The minister stated that the program targets members of productive cooperative associations and small entrepreneurs by providing them with several mechanisms within the presidential initiative to support irregular employment, such as facilitating the establishment of micro-enterprises, low-interest financing, and small project management training.

Participating in various exhibitions and marketing platforms, raising awareness of how to price and improve the quality of handmade products, and facilitating the use of all insurance protection services by all workers in this sector.
