Skill-Building for the Digital Era: Training Experts Map Out the Youth Career Journey at the Launch of “Masarak Le Bokra”

Cairo – July 1, 2026

On the sidelines of the official launch of the “Masarak Le Bokra” (Your Path to Tomorrow) initiative, the Top 50 Most Influential Women Forum hosted an expert-led panel to outline the strategic roadmap for qualifying Egypt’s youth for the modern labor market. The session brought together lead trainers and project managers to discuss the program’s core objectives and the specific skills being delivered to bridge the gap between academic learning and the rapidly evolving digital economy.

Adapting to a Volatile Market

Mahmoud Rabie, Project Manager at the Central Department for Digital Community Development (MCIT), emphasized that the modern labor market is in a state of permanent flux. “We are seeing a revolution where new roles are emerging daily while others become obsolete,” Rabie noted. He stressed that the skills youth master today will define their economic mobility in the future, making lifelong learning a non-negotiable necessity.

Rabie explained that the program’s methodology relies on constant interaction between trainees and industry veterans. This ensures that market expertise is transferred through practical application rather than just theoretical instruction, fostering a culture of self-driven research and continuous knowledge-seeking.

Developing Practical Capabilities

Engineer George Magdy, Manager of the Technological Unit for Youth Empowerment and Training, highlighted the program’s multi-disciplinary approach. The curriculum is not limited to a single instructor but involves a collective of specialists across various fields. Magdy explained that the first phase of the program focuses on “Soft Skills” and life capabilities, followed by intensive technical tracks in high-demand areas such as Data Analysis and Systems Analysis.

“Possessing knowledge is only half the battle; the other half is the ability to adapt and apply that knowledge within a professional context,” Magdy stated. He described the program as a tiered journey: it begins with foundational professional development and culminates in a one-month hands-on internship within major corporations, ensuring a seamless transition from the classroom to the boardroom.

The Professional Toolkit

Khaled Ahmed, Business Unit Manager at the Central Department for Digital Community Development, provided a breakdown of the training modules. The journey starts with the absolute basics of professional entry, including the nuances between a CV and a Resume, crafting compelling motivation letters, and mastering the art of the job interview.

Beyond the basics, the program dives into time management, organizational efficiency, and a comprehensive track on marketing. This includes a deep dive into the differences between traditional and digital marketing, content management, and practical training on managing diverse digital platforms. Ahmed emphasized that the goal is to produce “integrated professional characters” who are technically proficient and socially adept, ready to meet the requirements of both current and future job markets.

About the Initiative

The “Masarak Le Bokra” initiative was launched by the Top 50 Most Influential Women Forum in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Institute of National Planning (INP) as the strategic academic partner. The initiative aims to support and empower young men and women through specialized training that combines technological literacy, practical application, and professional mentorship.

The inaugural program, “Building an Integrated Professional Personality,” targets 1,000 students and fresh graduates, with 100 participants per cycle. The 60-day program includes 120 hours of theoretical training followed by a full month of internships at leading corporations. This initiative responds directly to the rapid changes in the labor market, ensuring that Egypt’s youth are fully prepared to lead in the digital economy.

The launch event was attended by Dr. Hala El-Said, Consultant to the President of the Republic for Economic Affairs, and Eng. Hoda Dahroug, Consultant to the Minister of Communications for Digital Community Development, alongside university presidents and industry experts.
