Hala Sadek, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Kuwait Finance House – Egypt (KFH Egypt), has been awarded the Arab Woman Award for Social Responsibility 2026 by the League of Arab States, in recognition of her distinguished career spanning more than 37 years and her outstanding contributions to corporate social responsibility, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development.
The award recognizes Sadek’s long-standing leadership in Egypt’s banking sector and her efforts to promote socially responsible business practices while supporting initiatives that contribute to inclusive economic and community development.
Kuwait Finance House – Egypt also continued its strong financial performance during 2026. The bank reported net profits of EGP 1.76 billion for the first quarter of 2026, compared with EGP 937.78 million during the same period in 2025, representing an annual growth rate of 87.4%.
Net income from financing and investment activities increased by 15.6% to EGP 2.16 billion in the first quarter of 2026, up from EGP 1.87 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Net fees and commission income also recorded solid growth, rising to EGP 267.53 million from EGP 216.18 million, an increase of approximately 23.8% year-on-year.
The bank’s financial position continued to strengthen during the first quarter of 2026. Total assets grew by 7.5%, reaching EGP 184.73 billion at the end of March 2026, compared with EGP 171.81 billion at the end of 2025.
Customer deposits increased to EGP 144.74 billion by the end of March 2026, up from EGP 141.35 billion at year-end 2025, reflecting quarterly growth of 2.4%.
Meanwhile, net financing portfolios expanded by approximately 8%, reaching EGP 104.57 billion at the end of the first quarter of 2026, compared with EGP 96.82 billion at the close of 2025, underscoring the bank’s continued growth across its core banking activities.
