Following the footsteps of Bank Misr, NBE, and CIB, QNB ALAHLI is offering three-year certificates of deposit at 19.25% return, according to the bank’s statement on Tuesday, April 4th.
According to the QNB ALAHLI’s website, the certificates are purchased at a minimum of EGP 500,000 and multiples of EGP 1,000.
The decision came only a few days after the central bank hiked rates by 200 basis points in an attempt to bring soaring inflation under control.
