Egyptian Planning Minister Hala El Said had talks on Thursday, Jan. 19, with Saadia Zahidi, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum, on the fringe of the 53rd World Economic Forum in Davos.

The talks tackled means of cooperation with the Davos Forum in alliances and workshops.

During the meeting, El Said reviewed the ministry’s efforts, topped by the initiatives launched, and the ministry’s role in preparing sustainable development plans for long, medium, and short terms.

She underscored the ministry’s contribution to the national initiative for smart, green projects.

The minister also highlighted the efforts exerted by the ministry in formulating Egypt Vision 2030, in addition to following up on the presidential initiative Decent Life.
