On the Occasion of World Children’s Day, The Arab League Calls to End Palestinian Child Suffering

by Nada Khaled

In a statement released on Sunday in honor of World Children’s Day, the Arab League Organization emphasized that every Palestinian child has the right to live in safety, free from all causes of fear, displacement, and violence.

Every year on November 20, the world observes World Children’s Day, an event that advocates for children’s rights, safety, education, health, and happiness. This year, the day coincides with the Israel’s Gaza War.

Amwal Al Ghad reported that the organization will soon release a video detailing the difficult struggles and obstacles that Palestinian children in Gaza face, and it denounces the barbaric and unconscionable acts of violence committed by the Israeli aggression.

According to the Ministry of Health, since the start of the Israeli occupation, there have been over 12,200 fatalities, including roughly 5,000 children, 3,250 women, and 690 elderly people—and over 29,500 injuries.
