Nile University in Egypt to Offer 70 Fully-paid Scholarships for Top Thanaweya Amma Students

Nile University has recently announced that it will be offering fully-funded scholarships to seventy of Egypt’s Thanaweya Amma high school students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance during the 2023-2024 academic year.

Fifty of these scholarships will be awarded to students who rank among the top 500 in Thanaweya Amma.

The other twenty scholarships will be awarded to the best students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) high schools established by Egypt in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to provide advanced education for academically-motivated students.

Nile National University is a non-profit research university, Egypt’s first, founded in July 2006 with the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Egyptian Foundation for the Development of Technology Education.

The university comprises five colleges: Engineering and Applied Sciences; Business Administration; Information Technology and Computer Science; Management of Technology; and Biotechnology. These scholarships are open to students accepted at Nile University for the 2023-2024 academic year and can be applied for through the following link: https://www.nu.edu.eg/apply-now. Other organizations and foundations have also recently announced scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The Ministry of Education released Thanaweya Amma results on Monday, with a pass rate of 78.8%. Egyptian universities will begin the 2023-2024 academic year on September 30th.

Nile University has announced that it will offer 70 fully-funded scholarships to outstanding Egyptian high school students during the academic year 2023-2024.

The President of the university, Wael Akl, stated that 50 of these scholarships will be given to students who rank among the top 500 in Thanaweya Amma.

Meanwhile, the remaining 20 scholarships will be awarded to students who have excelled in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) high schools established in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Nile National University, which is Egypt’s first non-profit research university, was founded in 2006 by the Egyptian Foundation for the Development of Technology Education with the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. It is worth noting that other entities and foundations have also recently announced fully-funded scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year.
