On Friday, The National Council for Women (NCW), led by Chairperson Maya Morsi, extended congratulations to Nemat Shafik for becoming the president of Columbia University.
Nemat “Minouche” Shafik is the current president of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
In her statement, Morsi said Egypt is proud of the extraordinary achievements made by Shafik, the first woman to hold this high-level position in the history of the university.to hold this high-level position in the history of the university.
