The National Council for Women, headed by Dr. Maya Morsi extended its sincere congratulations to the women editors-in-chief and boards of directors of national newspapers and magazines who were included in the decision of the National Press Authority within the movement for journalistic changes in the national press institutions.
Dr. Maya Morsi expressed her joy and pride in the new appointments, stressing that they reflect the authority’s confidence in the potential and capabilities of women to assume the highest leadership positions in various national journalistic institutions, and are an implementation of the Egyptian state’s approach to empowering women to reach leadership positions.
The latest changes witnessed the appointment of 7 women in various national institutions, including Al-Ahram Foundation, Al-Akhbar Foundation, and Dar Al-Hilal Foundation.
