National Women’s Council hold a Workshop on crimes of violence against women for 65 trainees

The National Women’s Council organized a training workshop on “Crimes of violence against women and crimes related to personal status”. In collaboration with UNFPA.

The workshop targeted 65 trainees working in the Women’s Complaints Office at the main centre and its branches in the governorates.

The workshop comes as part of the 16 Days of Activities against Violence against Women launched by the National Council for Women under the slogan “Koni”, which lasts for 4 days, from 24 to 27 November 2022.

The workshop also includes many topics such as elements of crime, and legislative frameworks for crimes of indecent assault, exposure, harassment and indecent act.
