Medbank announced the signing of a cooperation protocol with the Bahia Foundation for early detection and treatment of breast cancer, where the bank donated the cost of a dialysis machine in the intensive care department of the foundation.
The bank further stated that its employees will provide volunteer services, including sessions to raise financial awareness among female fighters and the importance of dealing with banks, which contributes to empowering them economically and socially, spreading their banking awareness, and developing their capabilities in practical life, in line with the state’s strategy to empower and support women.
This move comes as a continuation of the bank’s societal role and a continuation of its pioneering efforts to support the health sector, improve the health care system and the level of therapeutic services provided to citizens, and support the state’s efforts in developing the health sector, thus contributing to achieving comprehensive growth and development.
