Head of the National Council for Women, Maya Morsi, discussed mechanisms for promoting bilateral cooperation in the file of women’s empowerment with Belarus’ Ambassador in Cairo, Sergey Terentiev.
The Belarusian diplomat welcomed NCW’s involvement in women’s empowerment efforts.
During the meeting, Morsi stated that she is looking forward to expanding cooperation with Belarus in the coming months to capitalize on its distinguished expertise in cultivation and the use of modern technology in this critical sector.
She added that the country could benefit from Belarusian experts who can transfer their experiences to Egypt and rural women, thereby increasing its contribution in this area.
