Marianne Khoury Honored at the Cairo International Short Film Festival

The Cairo International Short Film Festival’s managers organized a symposium yesterday to honor film director and producer, Marianne Khoury for her work in the field of arts and culture. Producer and film director, Sherif Mandour chaired the symposium honoring Marianne Khoury, director of the short film “Let’s Talk”, as part of the activities of the festival’s fourth edition.

The opening ceremony of the Cairo International Short Film Festival witnessed the honoring of Marianne Khoury, joined by actress Kinda Alloush and director Yousry Nasrallah, and the director expressed his gratitude at the honor, especially since it comes from a festival specializing in short films.

It is noteworthy that the international short film jury includes in its membership 4 names of filmmakers and critics, as it includes scriptwriter Maryam Naoum, director Sameh Alaa, director Murad Mostafa, and critic Ahmed Shawky.

The activities of the fourth session of the Cairo Short Film Festival will continue until December 22. Great performances will take place at the Egyptian Opera House in 3 places, including the Artistic Creativity Center Hall, Hanager Cinema, and Civilization Cinema at the Egyptian Opera House. The festival management announced that all shows are free to the public.
