The minister highlighted that approximately 28 million women are benefiting from early disease detection programs. She stated that the political leadership had prioritized women’s well-being and health. The President has directed the removal of all obstacles that women may face in terms of health and socio-economic factors.

The Ministry of Health’s efforts in women’s health initiatives, especially the successful early detection campaign for breast cancer, have been appreciated. Studies conducted by the Ministry have shown a decrease in the proportion of women with breast cancer from 59% to 29%.

The Women’s Health Initiative aims to provide treatment and care for around 28 million women in the Republic through early detection, treatment, and raising awareness about the causes of the disease and self-screening methods. This success confirms that with modern treatments and comprehensive care provided by the State, the chances of recovery from this disease are high.

The Ministry emphasizes that its social policies prioritize including health as an integral part of human rights in all its programs. This includes initiatives for the first 1,000 days of a child’s life, health requirements for recipients of cash support, a program to reduce population growth, and a maternity health education program for married individuals.

These initiatives are carried out in collaboration with civil society organizations, whose contributions are highly valued and coordinated within all national programs. The Ministry is also strengthening efforts in the field to prioritize direct engagement with families through social pioneers.

Currently, 15,000 pioneers are providing outreach to families and communities, closely monitoring and updating their data through the newly established Community Awareness Observatory of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in partnership with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research.
