IDF Takes More Palestinian Hostages into Custody in West Bank Amidst Truce

by Nada Khaled

Earlier today, Al Arabiya, an Arab newspaper, reported that Israel had raided several Palestinian neighborhoods in the West Bank and detained dozens of civilians in the middle of the night.

Palestinian civilians are still being killed and detained in the West Bank despite the extension of the truce in Gaza.

In the occupied territory, hundreds of young men were reportedly taken into custody.

Additionally, according to Al Arabiya, Israeli occupation forces stormed Beitunia and Kafr Ain, west of Ramallah, early on Tuesday and shot and killed two young men.

Over 3,200 Palestinians have been detained by Israel in the West Bank since October 7th, according to the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs.

Most of these 3,200 hostages were abducted at Israeli checkpoints or from their residences.

There have been numerous raids and arrests of Palestinians in the West Bank every day for decades, as well as ongoing violence against them.
