Famed American Actress and Humanitarian Activist Angelina Jolie recently appeared in a clip from an interview with Syrian Director Waad Al-Khatib and stated that the concept of human rights is a total hoax.
In the clip, Jolie stated that she had given up on the notion that there were good people in the world, regardless of particular groups or nations, since she started working in the humanitarian sector roughly twenty years ago.
Jolie emphasized: I discovered that these rights and justice are granted to some people and not others.
She continued: Perhaps I found this idea through the events of World War II, and it also meant the existence of clear goals and lines for human rights and that someone must take action to achieve these rights, which is necessarily the mission of the United Nations.
Her remarks and interview came as part of the documentary “We Dare to Dream,” scheduled to be screened at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival in June 2024.
The humanitarian has previously called attention to the dire circumstances in Gaza and denounced the Israeli aggression against Palestinians in Gaza as well as the murder of thousands of defenseless children.
Earlier in this genocide, Jolie took to social media and posted: This is the deliberate bombing of a trapped population who have nowhere to flee.
Currently, Gaza is quickly turning into a mass grave after serving as an open-air prison for almost 20 years. Nearly 40% of those massacred are defenseless kids in addition to wiping out entire families.
Moreover, Millions of Palestinian civilians, including women, children, and families, are subjected to collective punishment, dehumanized, and denied access to food, medicine, and humanitarian aid, which violates international law.
That is all happening while the world watches in silence, and even more horrifying, many governments actively support this happening. Jolie urged that by refusing to demand a humanitarian ceasefire and blocking the UN Security Council from imposing one on both parties, world leaders are deliberately being complicit amid those atrocious crimes.
