The Health and Population Ministry announced that it conducted regular health checks for 32,933,752 women since the launch of the Presidential Initiative for Egyptian Women’s Health in July 2019.
Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, Spokesman for the Health Ministry, stated that the initiative also applied the international protocols for breast cancer treatment through 14 centers affiliated with the Health Ministry.
The spokesman added that these protocols were further activated in 14 centers affiliated with the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU).
In his statement on Wednesday, he mentioned that the ministry additionally offered health awareness services for women as part of the presidential initiative.
