The Consular sector at the Foreign Ministry announced Saturday, February 25, that the Italian authorities arrested the killers of Egyptian citizen Mohamed Ibrahim, who was found dead inside his car in a remote area in Cilavegna commune in Italy’s Lombardy.
The statement further indicated that personal disputes between the victim and the family of the mother of his Italian daughter motivated the crime. The sector added that additional suspects in relation to the incident are being sought.
The Egyptian Consulate in Milan is making extensive contacts with the relevant Italian authorities to follow up on the investigation and ensure the safe return of the body once the necessary legal procedures are finalized.
