Foreign Currencies’ Exchange Rate at Egyptian Banks on May 7th

The exchange rate of the United States Dollar remained stable at the beginning of Tuesday’s transactions at Egypt’s major banks.

The National Bank of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr, and the Commercial International Bank (CIB) showed the dollar rate as EGP 47.90 for buying and EGP 48 for selling. The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reported an average dollar rate of EGP 47.88 for buying and EGP 48.02 for selling.

The Euro price was EGP 51.54 for buying and EGP 51.72 for selling at the NBE, while it reached EGP 51.52 for buying and EGP 51.70 for selling at Banque Misr. At the CIB, the Euro price was EGP 51.54 for buying and EGP 51.73 for selling.

At the NBE, the Pound Sterling registered EGP 60.12 for buying and EGP 60.33 for selling, while at Banque Misr, it was EGP 60.06 for buying and EGP 60.34 for selling. At the CIB, the Pound Sterling recorded EGP 60.11 for buying and EGP 60.33 for selling.

The Saudi Riyal’s buying and selling rates at the NBE were EGP 12.76 and EGP 12.79, respectively.
