Entissar El-Sisi Received her Counterpart of Bosnia & Herzegovina at Ittihadiya Palace

Egypt’s First Lady, Entissar El Sisi, met with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s First Lady, Mirela Becerović, in Cairo on Monday.

Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy stated that both first ladies visited the operations rooms of the Egyptian Red Crescent.

During her visit to Egypt, the First Lady welcomed Mrs. Mirela Becerović, the wife of the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who she referred to as Egypt’s dear guest.

Entissar El Sisi stated that they had toured the operations rooms of the Egyptian Red Crescent together to discover the humanitarian role carried out by the organization and the hard work of its volunteers. She also welcomed Mrs. Mirala Becerović and wished her a pleasant stay in Egypt.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Becirovic, at the Ittihadiya Presidential Palace on Monday.

The palace hosted an official reception ceremony attended by Egypt’s First Lady Entissar El-Sisi and the First Lady of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The national anthems of both countries were played.

During a joint press conference on Monday, President Abdel Fattah al Sisi stated that Egypt was one of the first countries to establish diplomatic relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He emphasized Egypt’s responsibility as a peace sponsor in the world, which is evident through its contributions to the peacekeeping and peace-building process in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
