Emigration Ministry Works to Attract More Local, Foreign Investments

On Wednesday, May 31, Minister of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi asserted the state’s keenness to provide an appropriate atmosphere for investment and business to attract more local and foreign investments.

Gendi’s remarks came in her meeting with the CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), Hossam Heiba, and the “Nwah (Core)” group to discuss the establishment of the Egyptian expats’ company.

In a press release, the Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Ministry said that establishing the company came after recommendations of the Egyptian entities abroad conference held in 2022.

She added that the establishment of the company was hailed by Egyptian ex-pats, noting that the company will be managed by Egyptian investors living abroad.

The minister also noted that the Egyptian state enjoys promising investment opportunities in various sectors.
