El-Sisi Directs to Provide Medical Support to All Displaced in Sudanese Crisis

The Spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, said that since the beginning of the Sudanese crisis, the Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, has received directives to raise the maximum level of readiness to provide displaced people with medicines and medical supplies.

 

In a TV interview, Abdel Ghaffar added that the Ministry of Health increased the number of medical clinics, hospitals, and medical teams, to receive the displaced distinctly and provide them with medical support.

 

Ghaffar also affirmed that medical services are being provided to all visitors at all ports, 2,100 children have been vaccinated against polio and 731 against measles and rubella, and the total number of visitors to medical clinics is more than 7,500 Egyptians and Sudanese.
