This came during a meeting held by President Sisi, on Saturday, with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir, Damietta Governor Manal Awad, along with a host of senior officials.

The meeting was held to follow up on President Sisi’s directives to continue holding societal dialogue with Damietta residents who work in furniture manufacturing, according to  the Presidential Spokesman, Ahmed Fahmy.

During the meeting, President Sisi was briefed on the various phases of implementing and enhancing the DFC to meet the needs of the domestic market and to open the door for competing at the regional and international levels, added the spokesman.
