The Egyptian Red Crescent Society has recently implemented several awareness meetings for school students in the primary and preparatory stages in 6 governorates to refine and develop students’ skills through the life skills program.

In their statement, The Egyptian Red Crescent Society asserted that the life skills program works to develop students’ skills through 14 basic skills that are discussed and explained to students during the meetings, which include cooperation, participation, creativity, decision-making, and communication to consolidate the relationship between students, school, and educational staff.

Red Crescent further indicated that these activities come within the life skills program supported by UNICEF Egypt and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
