Egypt’s Rania Al Mashat Underlines State Experience on Conducting CCDR Report

Egypt works relentless efforts in a commended way to conduct the Country Climate and Development Report (CCDR) in collaboration with the World Bank and the local bodies participating, according to Rania el Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation and Governor of Egypt at the World Bank Group.

Mashat made these remarks while attending two high-level meetings on the sidelines of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund’s 2023 Spring Meetings in Washington, according to a ministry’s statement.

Egypt has worked on the report for more than one year to define challenges facing the national economy and development and climate-linked domains.

The minister also shed light on the launch of Egypt’s Platform for the NWFE Program that aims to put the CCDR’s recommendations into effect to accelerate transition to green economy.
