Egypt’s engineering exports rise 10% to $3.3 billion in 2022
According to Ahram Online, Egypt’s engineering industries exports rose between January and November 2022 by 10 per cent to $3.3 billion, according to the monthly report of The Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EEC).
According to the report, the country’s exports during the same period in 2021 amounted to $3 billion.
According to the EEC, which is part of the country’s Ministry of Trade and Industry, cables, car components, household appliances, machinery, and equipment topped the list.
Over the past 11 months, Egypt’s top export destinations have been the United Kingdom, France, and Germany in Europe; Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait in Asia; Algeria, Morocco, and Libya in Africa; and the United States, Argentina, and Brazil in other markets.
