The mosalsalat (TV shows) airing in Ramadan are one of the most essential aspects of Ramadan in Egypt.

Hundreds of thousands of people around the country spend their iftar or suhoor nights transfixed to a TV, savoring their favorite series of the year.

Every year, Egyptians are torn between all the stories presented in the Ramadan race, which they rely on for entertainment during the holy month.
