Egypt’s Telecommunications companies are set to raise the cost of home bundles on Friday, January 5. The increases will range from 10% to 15%, and free access to government and educational websites will be included.
Due to rising dollar prices and station operating costs, telecommunications companies blamed the increase in operating costs for the reasons behind the price increases of home packages.
Here are the new prices for the bundles:
– 140 GB: an increase of 40 pounds, from 120 to 160 pounds.
– 200 GB: an increase of 55 pounds, from 170 to 225 pounds.
– 250 GB: an increase of 70 pounds, from 210 to 280 pounds.
– 400 GB: an increase of 100 pounds, from 340 to 440 pounds.
– 600 GB: an increase of 150 pounds, from 500 to 650 pounds.
