Egyptian Ministers Sign LE565 mln Agreement to Implement Projects in Several Governorates

On March 24, Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala Al-Saeed, Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad, and Local Development Minister Hesham Amna signed an agreement with Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), to carry out projects worth EGP 565 million.

The projects involve the completion of the fifth phase of solid waste infrastructure in the governorates of Matrouh, Beheira, Damietta, Sharqiya, and Giza.

The agreement was signed in line with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli’s directions to adopt a new system to improve solid waste management across the country in order to promote cleanliness and citizen satisfaction.
