Egypt Wins AAPAM Innovative Management Award

Egypt, represented by Egypt Post, has won the Innovative Management Award from the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM) for the “Win” customer loyalty program and Yalla Super App.

The announcement was made during the AAPAM 41st Roundtable Conference, which was held on December 6-9 in Cape Town, South Africa, under the theme “Africa’s Renewal in the Era of Sustainable Development: Shared Responsibility for Institutional Strengthening.” The Conference was attended by ministers from Egypt, South Africa, and Kenya, as well as academics and public administration experts.

Winning the prize was the culmination of Egypt Post’s achievements and efforts in following international standards, adopting financial inclusion and digital transformation in different operations, and introducing digital channels to facilitate people’s access to services.

The goal of the Innovative Management Award is to recognize organizational achievement. It is given to African ministries, government agencies, and civil society organizations that have used innovation and creativity to provide public services in order to achieve sustainable development. A jury evaluates entries in five categories: innovation, relevance, significance, sustainability, and replication.

AAPAM Roundtable Conference aims to promote creativity and innovation within the public sectors and highlight the best practices and innovative solutions to overcome administrative hurdles and obstacles. The Conference provides a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences in service delivery innovation.
