Egypt Dominates PSA’s 2023 Women’s World Rankings

The Professional Squash Players Association (PSA) announced the new and final world rankings for female players in December, and Egyptian champion Nour El-Sherbiny continued her dominance in the world rankings for the 17th week in a row so that the Egyptian champion will end the year 2023 on the throne of the world rankings.

Moreover, El-Sherbiny was followed by 2 Egyptian champions, Nouran Gohar and Hania Al-Hamami, securing the 2nd nd and 3rd place, as well as Nour Al-Tayeb, who held the 7th place, displaying Egypt’s impressive dominance in the sport this past year.

The PSA published the final list of 2023’s women rankings as follows:

  1. Nour El-Sherbiny
  2. Nouran Gohar
  3. Hania Al-Hamami
  4. Belgian Nellie Gleiss
  5. American Amanda Sobhi
  6. English Georgina Kennedy
  7. Nour Al-Tayeb
  8. Belgian Tini Glees
  9. New Zealander Joelle King
  10. American Olivia Fetcher
