Based on a report released on Wednesday, January 3rd, by the Egyptian Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), the Egyptian state’s population rose to 105.858 million on January 1, 2024,
According to CAPMAS, 104.395 million people were living in Egypt as of January 1, 2023, and the number jumped to 1.463 million over the past year.
CAPMAS further stated that there will be roughly 149,000 fewer babies in 2023 than there were in 2021, a 6.8% decrease from the previous year.
