Banque du Caire’s profits surge 41% YoY in H1

According to a recent press release, Banque du Caire has experienced a significant increase in net profits after tax in the first half of 2023.

Specifically, the bank’s net profits after tax increased by 41% to reach EGP 2.6 billion, compared to EGP 1.8 billion in the first half of 2022.

Furthermore, Banque du Caire’s net interest income has also seen a substantial increase of 35% to reach EGP 8 billion in the first half of the current year, up from EGP 5.9 billion in the same period last year.

In addition to these impressive financial results, Banque du Caire has also seen a significant increase in customer deposits, which rose by an impressive 22% YoY to reach EGP 305 billion by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP 250 billion by December 2022. Moreover, the bank has also provided a total of EGP 160.9 billion loans to customers and other banks in the first half of 2023, a notable increase of 14% from the EGP EGP 140.5 billion provided in 2022.

These results demonstrate Banque du Caire’s continued success in the Egyptian market and highlight the bank’s commitment to delivering value to its clients and shareholders.
