The 76th annual Cannes Film Festival witnessed a strong and remarkable Arab presence, the Arab stars shone on the red carpet, embodying the Arab presence in this prominent international festival.

Cannes Film Festival is all about celebrating international cinema on a global platform, championing movies from every part of the world.

Worth mentioning, Arab representation at Cannes has exponentially increased over the last couple of years, in terms of films and participation.

Mona Zaki

Mona Zaki participated in the opening ceremony,
where Michael Douglas was honored with the Palme d’Or.

Egyptian actress made a sharp appearance in a printed

Yousra

The Egyptian actress Yousra shined in a black dress,
she wore in a remarkable event celebrating the
success of the first Sudanese Film in Cannes
named “Goodbye Julia”.







 

Tara Emad

The Egyptian actress made a unique appearance
with a white body-skimming gown that beautifully
complemented her slender frame.







 

Amina Khalil

Amina Khalil turned heads with a black-white dress
and accompanied director and director Haya Khairat,
who was honored by the festival with the Angieux Special
Encouragement Award.

Khalil’s latest film “Shamarikh” (fireworks) is slated
for release in cinemas soon.
