The Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt signed a cooperation protocol, on the sidelines of the Egypt Mining Forum 2023, to carry out the second phase of the capacity-building program in the mining sector, which takes place from July 2023 to July 2024.
EMRA’s Chairman, Yasser Ramadan, and Chairman of the Mining Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, Mohamed Zaher, signed the protocol.
Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, witnessed the signing.
El Molla emphasized that the ongoing training and development of the mining workforce represent a key element of the vision adopted to develop and maximize Egypt’s mineral resources optimization, noting the positive cooperation with Amcham’s mining and mineral resources committee has been continuously expanding.
