President of the National Council for Women, Dr. Maya Morsi, recently received Ambassador Peter Mollema, Ambassador of the Netherlands in Cairo, to talk over new methods of cooperation between the two sides.
Dr. Morsi spoke about Egypt’s efforts in the issue of empowering Egyptian women and reviewed several initiatives, programs, and projects in which the Council cooperates with the Netherlands, such as investment programs in girls and women’s economic empowerment projects, that mainly focus on raising awareness and spreading financial culture for targeted women.
For his part, Ambassador Peter Molema praised the progress achieved in the issue of empowering Egyptian women and discussed ways of future cooperation with the Council.
