Al Sis Instructs Launching Seaport, Industrial Zone, Logistics Area in Gargoub
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a meeting with Prime Minister- Mostafa Madbouly-, Minister of Housing -Assem El-Gazzar-, Minister of Transport- Kamel El-Wazir-, Commander of the Navy- Lieutenant Gen. Ashraf Atwa-, and head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority- Maj. Gen. Ahmed El-Azazy.
Al Sisi followed up on the development of a Mediterranean seaport, an industrial zone, and a logistics area in Gargoub, west of Egypt. The President was briefed on the mechanisms of gaining the optimum benefit from developing the strategic location of Gargoub area, to maximize returns on services of trade traffic between Egypt, Europe, and Africa.
The mega project in this area includes a commercial container port and international tourism centers. In recent years, Egypt witnessed the launch of several mega projects for world-class road networks and advanced transportation means to expedite sustainable development.
