Ahram Online’s Doaa Abdel-Moneim Receives Entrepreneurship Journalism Excellence Award for North Africa

According to a press release on Thursday, Doaa Abdel-Moneim, head of the Business and Economic Affairs Desk at Ahram Online, has been recognized as the winner of the Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) Entrepreneurship Journalism Excellence Award among North African journalists for her coverage of African entrepreneurs’ strategies, innovation, and community impact.

Throughout her career, the Egyptian journalist has received eleven honors in total from national, regional, and international organizations.

The ABH Entrepreneurship Journalism Excellence Awards are given out in five regions of Africa, with one award given to the journalist responsible for the best piece in each of the divisions.

Two phases make up the award selection process: first, a panel of senior APO Group public relations experts shortlists stories, and then they review the final nominations to determine who will win the regional and grand journalist awards.

The Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Philanthropy are the sponsors of the ABH Prize Competition, a charitable initiative launched in 2019 to encourage and support African entrepreneurs and eventually build a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem on the continent.
