Saturday, the 12th of November marks the launch of “FAST”, the Food and Agriculture Sustainability Transition initiative, as announced by Agriculture and Reclamation minister, El Sayyed Al Quseir, earlier this morning.
‘Agriculture and Adaptation day‘ was held sidelining the climate conference “COP27” in Egypt, on Saturday. Among the activities of this day was the launch of the previously mentioned initiative.
The important role played by this initiative in financing development partners will assist their fight against the climate change consequences was repeatedly emphasized by the minister during his speech.
The ministers of water resources and Irrigation will be among the attendees of the launch ceremony alongside ambassadors and representatives of national, international and regional organizations and others as well.
