CANEX Aluminum Wins Women With Metal – Champion Company Award at ALUMINIUM 2026

Düsseldorf, Germany – October 7, 2026

CANEX Aluminum, an aluminum extrusion and die-casting manufacturer based in 6th of October City, Egypt, received the Women With Metal – Champion Company award on October 6, 2026, according to the organizer’s official 2026 winners list.

In its press release, RX said CANEX was recognized for its strong commitment to equality and inclusion. The company was also recognized for actively supporting women in both operational and leadership positions, setting an example for a modern and inclusive industrial workplace.

The award was presented during the second edition of Women With Metal – The ALUMINIUM Awards, held at the Conference Theatre in Hall 7a on the opening day of the ALUMINIUM 2026 trade fair at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany.

The Women With Metal – Champion Company category recognizes organizations demonstrating outstanding commitment to empowering women and fostering an inclusive and supportive industry.

CANEX Aluminum was shortlisted alongside Speira GmbH, ISOLPACK SPA, and Steel and Alloy Processing / Gonvarri Steel Services.

The company’s QHSE Manager, Rasha Othman, was also named a finalist in three individual categories: Role Model, Unseen Impact, and Women With Metal – Champion Individual.

However, Othman did not receive any of the three individual awards. The Role Model award went to Siri Sande of Storvik Group, Unseen Impact went to Nabeeha Farooqui of Crown Packaging, and Women With Metal – Champion Individual went to Teresa Hayes of Logan Aluminum.
