The National Council for Women (NCW) has congratulated Counselor Hoda Ahmed Eissa on her appointment as Head of Egypt’s Administrative Prosecution Authority, describing the milestone as another important step in the country’s ongoing efforts to expand women’s leadership in the judiciary and public institutions.
The congratulatory visit was led by Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women, who met with Counselor Hoda Ahmed Eissa following her assumption of office.
The meeting was attended by senior members of the Supreme Council of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, including Counselor Ehsan El-Toukhy, Counselor Fatma Abdel Aal, Counselor Dr. Mohamed Abu Deif, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council, Counselor Montaser Abdel Aal, Director of the Prosecution Departments, Counselor Brihan Mohsen, Director of the Women, Human Rights and Persons with Disabilities Unit, and Counselor Mohamed Salah Mehanna, Director of Public Relations and Protocol.
Representing the National Council for Women were Dr. Mayada Abdel Kader, NCW board member and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law at Alexandria University, and Counselor Abdel Nasser Omar, member of the Council’s Economic Committee and Technical Office of the Assistant Minister of Justice for Real Estate Registration Affairs.
Commitment to Women’s Constitutional and Legal Rights
During the meeting, Counselor Hoda Ahmed Eissa expressed appreciation for the National Council for Women’s longstanding role in advancing the constitutional and legal rights of Egyptian women.
She noted that these efforts contribute to strengthening women’s participation across all sectors of society while supporting the objectives of the National Strategy for the Empowerment of Egyptian Women 2030 and Egypt Vision 2030.
She also emphasized her commitment to strengthening cooperation between the Administrative Prosecution Authority and the National Council for Women to promote justice, equality, and equal opportunities.
According to Hoda Ahmed Eissa, Egypt continues to place women’s empowerment among its national priorities under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Recognizing Women’s Progress in Egypt’s Judiciary
For her part, Counselor Amal Ammar congratulated Hoda Ahmed Eissa on assuming leadership of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, praising the institution’s role in safeguarding the rule of law, protecting public funds, and combating corruption.
She also highlighted the Authority’s record in supporting women, noting that it has the highest female representation among Egypt’s judicial bodies.
Amal Ammar said the appointment reflects the significant progress Egyptian women have achieved in recent years, describing Hoda Ahmed Eissa’s leadership as another milestone in women’s growing presence in senior judicial positions.
She wished the newly appointed head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority continued success in leading one of Egypt’s key judicial institutions while advancing its national mission.
